Stealth Technology

Stealth or low observability (it is scientifically known) is the technology that allows an object (aircraft or missile) to be partially invisible to Radar or any other means of electromagnetic detection. The motive behind incorporating stealth technology in an aircraft is to make it invitility by making it less visible. 

The technology was initially developed by US it was the first country to use stealth technology. The first stealth aircraft was F-117 "Night Hawk" developed by Lockheed Martin (United States). The technology involves, superior designs of defense weapons and the use of advanced materials and paint coat, so as to make the surface of missiles or aircraft's less reflective or non- reflective to electromagnetic radiations (EMR) beamed by enemy's radar. 

In simple terms, The Stealth bombers unusual shape and its composite construction material have made it virtually undetectable by current radar systems.

GSAT-24 Mission

NewSpace India Limited (NSIL), a Govt. of India company under Department of Space (DoS) is undertaking GSAT-24 satellite mission as its 1st Demand Driven mission post space reforms. GSAT-24 is a 24-Ku band communication satellite weighing 4180 kg with Pan India coverage for meeting DTH application needs. NSIL has leased the entire satellite capacity to M/s Tata Play. The status update on GSAT-24 mission GSAT-24 satellite after completing assembly, integration and environmental test was cleared by PSR (Pre-Shipment Review) committee on May 2, 2022.     Satellite and its allied equipments were shipped to Kourou, French Guiana on May 18, 2022 using C-17 Globemaster aircrafts. Satellite was received in Kourou on May 19, 2022. As part of launch campaign activities, the satellite is presently undergoing health/ performance checks at clean room facilities in French Guiana. Launch on-board Ariane-V VA257 flight is scheduled for June 22, 2022

Economic policies of the British in India from eighteenth century to Independence

British control over India began purely out of economic considerations with political factor assuming primacy in the later stages. The English East India company assumed the Diwani rights over a large part of east India following their victory at Plassey (1757) and Buxar (1764). EDUSAT Satellite, ISRO

GSAT-3, known as EDUSAT is meant for distant class room education from school level to higher education. This was the first dedicated "Educational Satellite" that provide the country with satellite based two way communication to class room for delivering educational materials. This is a Geo-synchronous satellite developed on I-2K bus. GSAT-3 was co-located with METSAT(KALPANA-1) and INSAT-3C at 74 o  E longitude. HAMSAT is a Micro-satellite for providing satellite based Amateur Radio services to the national as well as the international community of Amateur Radio Operators (HAM).
