Which documents are required to be sent to the UPSC for legal cases?

In legal re-imbursement cases, the following documents are required to be furnished:- 

a) Completed proforma; 

b) Certified Copy of the judgment; 

c) Stamped receipts for fees paid to lawyers; 

d) Original Claim of the Claimant; 

e) Certified copy of order sheet or a certificate showing the number of days on which the case was posted for hearing and on which it was actually heard. 

f) In cases where the claims involved are for an amount exceeding Rs. 500/- the views of the Ministry of Law/Law Officer on the admissibility and reasonableness of the claim should be obtained before the case is placed before the Commission.

The Deccan Schools (1560-1800 A.D.) Art, Culture, Sculpture & Paintings

Though no pre-Mughal painting from the Deccan are so far known to exist, yet it can safely be presumed that sophisticated schools of painting flourished there, making a significant contribution to the development of the Mughal style in North India. Early centres of painting in the Deccan, during the 16th and 17th centuries were Ahmednagar, Bijapur and Golconda. In the Deccan, painting continued to develop independently of the Mughal style in the beginning. However, later in the 17th and 18th centuries it was increasingly influenced by the Mughal style. 1. AHMEDNAGAR The earliest examples of the Ahmednagar painting are contained in a volume of poems written in praise of Hussain Nizam Shah I of Ahmednagar (1553-1565) and his queen. The Pahari Painting Schools (17th TO 19th Century)

The Pahari region comprises the present State of Himachal Pradesh, some adjoining areas of the Punjab, the area of Union Territory of Jammu in the Jammu and Kashmir State and Garhwal in Uttar Pradesh. The whole of this area was divided into small States ruled by the Rajput princes and were often engaged in welfare. These States were centres of great artistic activity from the latter half of the 17th to nearly the middle of the 19th century. 1 . BASOHLI The earliest centre of painting in the Pahari region was Basohli where under the patronage of Raja Kripal Pal, an artist named Devidasa executed miniatures in the form of the Rasamanjari illustrations in 1694 A.D. There is one more series of the Rasamanjari miniatures painted in the same style and almost of the same period but appears to be in a different hand. Foreigners role in the Indian struggle for freedom

Several foreigners made India their homeland and participated in various movements. (i) A.O. Hume was founded INC in 1885. He was a liberal British Civil Servant sympathetic to India’s freedom struggle and worked for Congress in India. He is known as ‘Father of Indian Ornithology’.  (ii) Annie Besant of Ireland, founded Home Rule League and the Theosophical society in India. She also edited ‘New India and Commonwealth’.  (iii)Sister Nivedita was Scots-Irish social worker, author and disciple of Swami Vivekananda. She had close associates with the Ramakrishna Mission during its inception. Her epitaph reads “Here reposes Sister Nivedita who gave her all to India”.  (iv)C.F. Andrews worked with Gandhi in South Africa and also in India. He was known as “Deenbandhu”, and he denounced Begari in Himachal. He organized relief operation for Orissa flood victims and earthquakes of Bihar.

INSAT-4CR Satellite, ISRO

GSLV-F04 is the fifth flight of India's Geosynchronous Satellite launch Vehicle (GSLV), launched INSAT-4CR satellite, into a Geosynchronous Transfer Orbit (GTO) of 170 km perigee and 35,975 km apogee with an orbital inclination of 21.7 degree with respect to equator on September 2, 2007. Subsequently, the satellite was manoeuvred into geostationary orbit using its own propulsion system. The 49 m tall GSLV, with a lift-off mass of 415 tonne, is a three-stage vehicle with solid, liquid and cryogenic stages. The first stage of GSLV, one of the largest in the world, uses Hydroxyl Terminated Polybutadiene (HTPB) based propellant. The second stage and the four strap-on motors surrounding the first stage use liquid propellant 'Vikas' engine burning UH25 and Nitrogen Tetraoxide. The third stage is a cryogenic stage using liquid Hydrogen as fuel and liquid Oxygen as oxidiser. The 73rd Amendment along with 74th is called a silent revolution. The most revolutionary provision is said to be the reservation of one-third of the seats for women in local bodies (including the number of seats reserved for women belonging to the SCs and STs). Subhash Chandra Bose's contribution to India's freedom

Subhash Chandra Bose was a prominent freedom fighter who has made an immense contribution to the freedom of our country. He participated in the Non-corporation Movement in 1920 and set an example for the youth of the country and inspired them in many ways. Subhash chandra Bose was a prominent freedom fighter. He participated in the noncooperation movement in 1920. He became the president of Haripura and Tripuri session of congress. He founded the Forward Block in January 1941. He made anti British propoganda from the Berlin radio station and raised free India units with the Indian prisoners of war in germany.  After Ras Bihari Boase resigned from the chairmanship of Indian Independence league subhash chandra Bose became the commander in chief of INA. Bose set up two INA Headquarters, in Rangoon and in Singapora Bose in a Broadcast on Azad Hind Radio had addressed Gandhi Ji as the “Father of the Nation”.
