Crew module Atmospheric Re-entry Experiment (CARE)

Crew Module (CM) is identified as the payload in GSLV MK-III-X/CARE Mission. CARE is the acronym for Crew module Atmospheric Re-entry Experiment. The mission would be used as a platform for testing the re-entry technologies envisaged for Crew Module including validating the performance of parachute based deceleration system.

CARE is expected to enhance the understanding of blunt body re-entry aerothermodynamics and parachute deployment in cluster configuration. 

The external configuration of the Crew Module to be flight tested in GSLV MK-III is same as that of manned flight.

Objectives:

  • Demonstration of reentry flight of Crew Module
  • End to end parachute system validation
    • Demonstration of apex cover separation
    • Demonstration of parachute deployment

The Crew Module (CM) is separated from the Launch Vehicle at an altitude of 126 km, re-enters Earth’s atmosphere at about 80 km and descends further in ballistic mode. Beyond 80 km, CM follows an uncontrolled re-entry trajectory and impacts at sea about 180 km from Andaman and Nicobar Island from where it will be recovered by Indian Coast guard.

The partition of Bengal in 1905

Many reasons may be identified for the partition of Bengal in 1905. According to the British Government, the Bengal province consisting of Bihar, Orissa, Assam was too big to be welt governed. Which documents are required to be sent to the UPSC for legal cases?

In legal re-imbursement cases, the following documents are required to be furnished:-  a) Completed proforma;  b) Certified Copy of the judgment;  c) Stamped receipts for fees paid to lawyers;  d) Original Claim of the Claimant;  e) Certified copy of order sheet or a certificate showing the number of days on which the case was posted for hearing and on which it was actually heard.  f) In cases where the claims involved are for an amount exceeding Rs. 500/- the views of the Ministry of Law/Law Officer on the admissibility and reasonableness of the claim should be obtained before the case is placed before the Commission.

Selection of NonState Civil Service Officers to the Indian Administrative Services

Should any original certificate be submitted to the TNPSC?

Not necessary. However, in case the candidate is already in Government service, the No Objection Certificate obtained from the competent authority alone should be submitted to the Commission in original. The remaining certificates will be returned to the candidates, after verification by the Commission.
